Monroe County Judge Denies Attorney General Petition

A Monroe County Judge denied the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s petition to overturn the decision of U.S. District Court Judge John D. Whitesell. The Attorney General filed the petition after Judge Whitesell dismissed multiple criminal counts in the Eagle Valley Homes case

Judge Peter O’Brien of the Monroe County Superior Court stated in his opinion denying the peititon that Whitesell was an ”experienced and conscientious” judicial officer who was confronted with ”voluminous documents and testimony”.
