Kelly Defeo, 42, Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, was charged by Indictment with one count of conspiracy to make false statements in connection with a loan application, and two counts of making false statements in connection with a loan application.
If convicted the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of 65 years’ imprisonment, five years supervised release, a $2,250,000 fine, and a $300 special assessment.
The case was investigated by the Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation Division and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney David L. Axelrod.
