Jerry Wayne Frazier, 46, attorney, Lithonia, Georgia, was sentenced to two years and nine months in federal prison, ordered to pay $593,337 in restitution to lenders, to file tax returns for the past four years and to surrender his law license, for his participation in a multi-million dollar mortgage fraud scheme.

Frazier was indicted in April 2003 along with eight other individuals. The scheme involved the use of unqualified straw buyers, including inmates about to be released from federal prison facilities or drug treatment centers. Some of the properties were churned.
