Katherine A. Robinson and James L. Spicer d.b.a. K.A.R. Appraisal Services
The lawsuit involves 109 first mortgage loans originated by Promised Land and purchased and funded by ABN in Marion County, Indianapolis, Indiana. The complaint alleges that the original principal amount of the 109 mortgages was $6M and ABN estimates, in its Complaint, that the properties are worth less than $1M. ABN alleges that the loans were based on false and misleading appraisals of the properties, improper, false and/or fraudulent information regarding the prospective borrowers, improper false and/or fraudulent closing documentation and disbursement of loan proceeds for improper and unauthorized individuals and entities.
