Wednesday, March 28 2007 05:43

Manequa Anthony, 30, owner and broker of Jordan Real Estate, Brentwood, California; Jayme Hutchins, 30, agent, Brentwood, California; and Monika Selleaze, 36, notary public, Antioch, California, were arrested in connection with an alleged real estate fraud.

According to media reports, the victim provided Hutchins with a credit report for use in purchasing a home in Oakland. That deal fell through and was never completed. Thereafter, Hutchins allegedly obtained a loan to purchase a home in Brentwood, California using the victim's credit report. Anthony is alleged to have facilitated the title change and Selleaze to have notarized the documents. Hutchins and Anthony also allegedly received commissions totaling approximately $30,000 as a result of the fraudulent purchase.

The victim became aware of the crime when attempting to pre-qualify for another home purchase.

Hutchins, Anthony and Selleaze were charged with forgery, grand theft, identity theft, falsifying estate documents and conspiracy. Selleaze was also charged with notary fraud.

This is a great website and I would like to send you some information you may already have... I have been assisting a few families telling them to stand their ground and not let them take their homes... So many families have been able to qualify for a so called modification, but were they given the fair chance to do so. Or were their homes sold from beneath them and given a three day to reply or a ten day to get out of their homes with their family and anything they could take. Then given an unlawful detainer that would cost those 250.00 to answer or lose the judgment... Totally wrong and injustice for these banks to do, or the judge to allow...Like i said i have some leters from the dep of justice and information to share where do I send it?

There is a company called Home Solutions at 18331 Gridley Road in Cerritos, CA 90703 that seem to running a scam on investors and property holders. They are finding people with equity in the homes and close to foreclosure and milking them out of the equity while at the same time selling the houses to investors and promising to pay rents for 12 months but failing to provide the rent money

Manequa Anthony learned how to commit mortgage scams while she worked at Affordable Housing Solutions (AHS) in Antioch and Oakland. Her mentor was a man named Prince Walter Harris who founded and ran AHS. Prince Harris was arrested by the Fairfield Police Department a week before Manequa Anthony for the same type charges and is still in custody.
