First Latino Group Arrests

Accused of Scamming $1.3 Million from Hispanic Church Members in San Diego, California

Arrested in connection with an alleged real estate scam through an organization known as First Latino Group operating in San Diego, California:

Rolando Montez, 49, Vista, California

Terry Samples, 45, of Fullerton, California

Franklin Ontiveros, 41, Oceanside, California

Johnnie Mae Johnson, 55, Vista, California

Jacob Miller, 73, Vista, California

The defendants are accused scamming 118 victims out of approximately $1.3 million by failing to deliver promised services including low-cost home loans, credit repair, mortgage elimination and fraudulent real estate investment opportunities
