Home Confinement for Ardolino

Chester J. Ardolino, 37, Massachusetts, was sentenced to six months home confirment and three years probation and was ordered to pay a fine of $7,000 after his conviction on seven counts of money-laundering and fraud in connection with a 1999 real estate deal. Ardolino recently resigned from his 20 year position as a Springfield police officer. He was suspended without pay following his arrest last year.

“Unfortunately my career as a police officer is over . The new chapter in my life centers around my wife and my newborn son. They are everything to me. I ask for leniency to devote my life to them.”
