Russell Lee Parker was reportedly sentenced to 13 years in federal prison for his role in a mortgage fraud scheme in Jacksonville, Florida and was ordered to pay restitution of $14.1 million. Parker was convicted of mail fraud, wire fraud and conspiracy by a federal jury in October, 2005 in connection with a real estate scam whereby he lured investors to purchase properties. Russell would inflate the property values and pocket the proceeds. Dale Beardsley, the attorney that closed the transactions, pled guilty to conspiracy and bank fraud and was sentenced to five years in federal prison.

I am a victum of the worst kind of mmortgage fraud there is. I need assistant a.s.a.p. because of this I can loose my home that I have owned for almost 10 years. After my first refinance with Meritech Mortgage company of four years they added $30,000.00 to the payoff for an error that they admitted to the BBB of Fort Worth Texas in 2001. Nothing else was done but, from that everytime I refinance my interest has been higher and the broker fees and processing fees has been outrageous! I need a lawyer who will help me with these lenders who called themselves helping me get away from the last bad lender who overcharged me.
